Having retired after rendering 31 years of extraordinary service to local government, Jocelin now focuses on her passion projects , The Connection Specialist, LLC and a group that GOD gave her, “ When Nurse Pray.” These organizations were born out of her GOD given desire to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to mid life women and Christian female healthcare professionals primarily Nurses. She also offers legal nurse consulting for Correctional Health. Community Health is a passion of hers in the nursing space.

Keva Scott
Keva Scott, Ed.S., is a visionary leader and dedicated advocate for youth development and
community empowerment. Her journey with the Boys & Girls Clubs Movement began in 1997
in Opelika, AL, where she committed herself to improving the lives of young people. Over the
years, she has made a profound impact on thousands of youth across Alabama, Virginia,
Kansas/Missouri, Tennessee, and Mississippi—raising millions of dollars, mentoring hundreds
of staff, and expanding the reach of every organization she has led.
Since 2015, Keva has served as the CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast (BGCGC),
leading significant growth by increasing the budget from $1.75 million to $4.3 million and expanding the organization’s reach to serve over 6,700 youth annually. Under her leadership,
BGCGC has launched transformative initiatives, including S.T.E.A.M. MakerSpace Studios,
Music Production Studios, and the ESA developmental sports league, which fosters the holistic
development of scholar-athletes. In 2025, BGCGC will open the Opportunity Center, a
groundbreaking facility dedicated to workforce development for opportunity youth aged 18-24.
Keva has also played a pivotal role on the national stage. She was instrumental in launching
ROOTED, Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Movement Resource Group, and contributed to the
development of BGCA’s Playmakers Summit, which strengthened the Senior Operations role in
local organizations.
Beyond her executive role, Keva is the founder of Heritage Global Group (HGG), an organization that empowers young professionals and fosters entrepreneurship. Through HGG, she created TRIBE, a dynamic young professionals network that cultivates strategic leadership through personal and professional coaching, expanding its influence across multiple cities. She is also the co-founder of the Legacy Business League, which provides entrepreneurs and business leaders with essential resources and development opportunities.
Keva is currently a doctoral candidate in Human Capital Development at the University of
Southern Mississippi, with an expected graduation in 2025. Her academic focus strengthens her
professional expertise, emphasizing organizational effectiveness and community empowerment.
A testament to her resilience and unwavering commitment, Keva’s career is driven by a singular
mission: ensuring that young people have the resources they need to succeed. Through
innovative programming, strategic funding, and groundbreaking initiatives, she continues to
drive lasting change, transforming the lives of youth and their communities.
Keva’s leadership and impact have been widely recognized. She has received numerous awards,
including the Forever Young Award for mentoring Coast Young Professionals, the David Sykes
Professional Excellence Award, and recognition as CEO of the Year and Mississippi CEO of the
Year. In 2024, she was inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs Mississippi Hall of Fame.
